About The Space
Our cosy holiday cottage for couples has recently been refurbished and is the perfect home away from home for you to explore the Northumberland Coast AONB
This is an ‘upside down cottage’ and is over 2 floors. The main entrance, bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor.
Upstairs you will find the living room and well equipped dining kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, electric fan oven and induction hob. There is a washer/dryer downstairs.
You will have access to fibre WiFi and Smart TVs in the living room and bedroom. We have provided a selection of games for you to play together and books for your amusement and reference.
4 The Old Bakery Seahouses has a sunny balcony perfect for relaxing after a day out exploring Northumberland. There is balcony furniture so you can enjoy a spot of ‘Al Fresco’ dining together – maybe some local kippers for breakfast!
We have private parking for your car on the partially covered driveway and the bus stop is at the end of our street…. Perfect for romantic linear walks along the Northumberland Coast Path.

About Us
It was a dream come true when we bought 4 The Old Bakery Seahouses in 2021 after falling in love with Northumberland many years earlier when we visited for coastal walking.
The cottage is very special to us and we often take short breaks here ourselves. It has, therefore, been lovingly renovated as a home from home.
We’re glad to share the cottage with our guests, who we hope will enjoy special times and make wonderful memories in Seahouses just as we do.

Our Location
The northernmost county in England has so much to offer and 4 The Old Bakery Seahouses, which was once part of a bakery in the heart of Seahouses harbour village, is in the ideal location for exploring North Northumberland AONB.
You can enjoy a Farne Islands boat trip to see puffins, seals and dolphins.
Enjoy walking along the Northumberland Coast Path together, with the nearby Bamburgh Castle in one direction and pretty Beadnell Bay or Dunstanburgh Castle in the other.
Cycle the Coast and Castles Route and take in the local history whilst admiring the views.
The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is an easy day trip destination across the tidal causeway, where you can visit Lindisfarne Castle and Priory and sample the locally made Lindisfarne Mead.
Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden are a short 20 min drive/bus ride inland.
4 The Old Bakery Seahouses is less than 200m from the sea. It is nestled away behind Main Street and superbly located close to the local amenities such as independent gift shops, characterful pubs, and many eateries.
Sample kippers from the traditional smokehouse and eat fish and chips looking over the harbour or fabulous beaches.
If golf, diving, open water swimming or SUP are your thing then 4 The Old Bakery Seahouses is perfectly situated for that, too.

There are always lots of questions about the property and the area – we’ve answered the most common ones below!
The cottage is in the centre of Seahouses Village and therefore only a few metres from the many shops, restaurants, pubs and harbour.
The Co-op is on the main street just a minutes walk from the cottage!
We have a private car parking space, which is partially covered, directly in front of the cottage.
It is suitable for 1 car or upto 2 motorcycles.
Yes, we have free fast fibre WiFi.
There are also SmartTVs for streaming in the living room and bedroom.
The living room SmartTV also has freeview and dvd player.
We provide all bed linen and tea towels.
We also provide a bath towel and hand towel per guest for use inside.
Please bring your own beach towels.
